After studying media and communications at uni, Katie started her career in advertising before discovering a passion for community engagement and social policy. While working in Federal Government, Katie gained a good understanding of how the systems and funding work to help achieve community aspirations. In 2023 she completed a post graduate certificate in Social Impact with the UNSW Centre for Social Impact.
