Help is here – domestic violence support campaign
COVID-19 has brought increased stress on many households and communities. Research indicates that during times of crisis, incidences of domestic violence can increase. 33 Creative are proud to have helped deliver the Help is Here campaign to help remind everyone, there is no place for family or domestic violence, even during a tough time.
Working closely with the mainstream campaign creative agencies, we adapted the television, print, digital and radio advertising to support the campaign in reaching Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Campaign supporters, Kunja woman and domestic violence survivor Lani Brennan, and Kuku-Yalanji and Gumbaynggirr man, father and cultural mentor Jeremy Donovan helped to reinforce key messages, including the importance of access to support services.
Indigenous media outlets helped to distribute key information to communities, including through interviews and sharing audio content.
