National COVID-19 campaign for First Peoples communities
In 2020, all of our lives were turned upside down by the outbreak of COVID0-19. This unprecedented health emergency required a significant response in the form of public health messaging to save peoples lives. In Australia, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities were among the most at risk.
We worked with the Federal Government to develop and deliver critical health messaging for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Our work on this vitally important campaign included:
A national electronically distributed newsletter
Social media graphics, banner and profile images
Social media message placement and strategy
Stakeholder engagement
Media placement and engagement
Editorial with community leaders
Printed resources distributed nationally
Radio, print, digital and social advertising
Translated materials
Our aim was to ensure our communities were aware of the key health advice, and to provide resources that could be easily shared across digital networks and communities.
A big thank you to all of our partners on this campaign, including the Advisory committee, NACCHO, First Nations Media, and all those who contributed their time and voices to support these important messages to keep our communities safe.
