Group Account Director
As 33 Creative’s Group Account Director, Katie stays busy helping our clients achieve their communication goals, developing strategies that deliver impact. Sometimes it’s helping them to figure out the best way to engage a community, to empower change, or to inspire something new.
Katie works remotely from Ngunnawal and Ngambri Country, making her our go-to contact for all things Canberran. Katie also makes frequent visits to the Sydney office to meet with clients and collaborate with the team.
After studying media and communications at uni, Katie started her career in advertising before discovering a passion for community engagement and social policy. While working in Federal Government, Katie gained a good understanding of how the systems and funding work to help achieve community aspirations.
Katie says the most rewarding aspects of her work is getting to collaborate with passionate people, and getting to work across a diverse range of projects, from the big national campaigns to smaller community driven projects.
Katie is currently studying her post grad certificate in Social Impact with the Centre for Social Impact at UNSW, aiming to graduate in the second half of 2023.
When she’s not donning her 33 Creative comms specialist hat, liaising with clients and writing strategy documents, Katie can be found spending time with family, tending to her garden, or wrangling their new puppy from eating the chickens.
