Water Traineeships
In 2025, we worked with the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water to plan, shoot and edit two case study styled videos promoting First Nations focused traineeships in the water industry.
Delivered by the Bega and Kempsey Shire councils in New South Wales, the traineeships provide opportunities for local people to get a start working in the water industry.
The aim of the case studies was to capture the experiences of trainees to help promote these career pathway opportunities to other First Nations people in each region.
Our production team spent two days shooting in each location, interviewing several trainees and representatives from each local council. Trainee’s shared yarns about the impact the traineeship opportunities has had for themselves and their families.
