Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Summit

Overview

33 Creative worked with the NSW Ministry of Health who jointly hosted the 5th Annual Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Summit with the Aboriginal Health and Medical Research Council of NSW on 22 June 2018.

With the theme of Aboriginal Health – It’s Time to Reset, the Summit brought together Ministers, Health Executives, Senior Managers, Policy Makers and implementers working from across the Health Sector to discuss improving health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

The Summit was attended by 150 people at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney, the event also included a networking function which capped off the day’s formalities.

Approach

33 Creative worked closely with the Ministry of Health to produce a highly successful event. 33 Creative managed the conference registration using the registration platform, Eventbrite; produced the design elements for the conference including the conference program, pull-up banner, PowerPoint slides and electronic lectern stand; worked directly with the ICC Event Management team to ensure the day ran smoothly and was a success, and engaged and managed a Graphic Artist to capture the day’s discussions.

On the conference day, we managed the Welcome to Country by Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Land Council, provided logistic support for all speakers and performers, which included Muggera dancers and Microwave Jenny.
