33C teams up with National Centre of Indigenous Excellence

Overview

The National Centre of Indigenous Excellence (NCIE) in Sydney’s Redfern commissioned our work for communications, media management, audio-visual packages and internal events across two of the centre’s key programs: IDX Flint and Exceller8!.

IDX Flint is a program that sparks the interest, ideas and talent of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to make digital technology by providing support to regional communities through hands-on workshops, skills development for local facilitators, equipment and educational resources.

Exceller8! is a program partnership between the NCIE, National Aboriginal Sporting Chance Academy and Shell Australia that aims to provide youngpeople with the tools to build self-confidence and develop lifelong learning skills.

Approach

Our team provided strategic advice on communications, multimedia, social and online media, including blogs.

We drove a public relations campaign that reached into remote organisations.

We developed, directed and produced two short films and screened them at internal events which were also produced by our team. This included the partners breakfast held during NAIDOC Week.
