Jake Keane

Jake Keane is a multi-media specialist with 15 years of experience working as a journalist, writer, editor and digital content creator. A descendent of the Lama Lama and Gamiliroi people, Jake completed a Journalism Cadetship at Vibe Australia where he became the organisation’s Senior Editor (2008 to 2014). At Vibe Australia, Jake was responsible for producing the nationally distributed Deadly Vibe magazine (both as co-writer and Senior Editor) and worked across a range of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander events and media products, including the nationally syndicated radio program Deadly Sounds, television programs Living Strong and Move it Mob Style, and events such as the Deadly Awards and the Vibe 3on3.

Jake is the former co-producer and co-host of Community Broadcasting Award winning sports radio program Black Gold, broadcast on Koori Radio and the National Indigenous Radio Service. As Communications Manager at Gadigal Information Service between 2015 and 2016, Jake led the development of communications campaigns, website development and digital strategy. Jake is 33 Creative’s Senior Writer and Content Manager, specialising in creative development and content creation.
